Philharmonic Wind Orchestra

Comprising over 150 highly skilled volunteer musicians, Philharmonic Wind Orchestra (PWO) was founded in 2022 to continue the legacy of The Philharmonic Winds and Philharmonic Youth Winds. Since their formation in 2000, The Philharmonic Winds and Philharmonic Youth Winds have been known for presenting meaningfully-programmed concerts of consistently high standards. Each concert revolves around a theme, such as Sounds of Japan, All That Jazz, Absoluut Dutch, An American Portrait and Death and Life, amongst others. It is the aspiration of PWO to become the finest wind orchestra in Singapore, aiming for professionalism in all aspects of the fine arts of music-making.

Emily who? Emily Who is an Australian children’s singer who has just released her fourth album! Emily is also the creator of the Kids Couch Concert Series (available on Vimeo on Demand) and Musical Pirate Adventures, on which she collaborated with Arcadia Winds. When she’s not singing her Emily Who songs, Emily writes and presents the children's shows for the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, Kur-ring-gai Philharmonic Orchestra Kids’ Proms performances, and the children’s shows for the Acacia Quartet. In 2017 she toured with Poetry in Action to schools across Australia, New Zealand and Hong Kong. Emily also volunteers for Storyville and Books In Homes, regularly reading stories for young children. She is also an actor and regularly performs in Australian television and theatre. Emily received the Emerging Artist award at the 2019 Fringe Festival.

This the YouTube home of the Texas A&M Department of Music Activities. Texas A&M University is located in College Station, Texas, USA. Texas A&M University is proud of its comprehensive music program which includes the “Fightin’ Texas Aggie Band”, four concert bands (the Wind Symphony, Symphonic Winds, Symphonic Band and Concert Band) two jazz bands, the Aggieland Dance Orchestra, the University Orchestras (the Philharmonic Orchestra and the Chamber Orchestra), the Singing Cadets, the Century Singers and the Women's Chorus. We serve around 1300 students each semester. Our concerts are streamed thanks to the generous support of the Texas A&M University Association of Former Students.

Chad Floyd

Dr. Chad Floyd (www.chadfloyd.com) is a percussion artist, educator, and composer. Chad currently serves as Associate Professor of Percussion at Campbellsville University. He also serves as President for the KY Chapter of the Percussive Arts Society and as a member of the PAS Education Committee. Chad has performed with the Lexington Philharmonic Orchestra, Orchestra Kentucky, Sacred Winds Ensemble, and the Bowling Green Chamber Orchestra. He has also served as drummer for the award winning band, Stoik Oak, served as drummer for the Grammy-nominated members of Sojourn Fare, and has performed multiple international tours as drummer for the Brazilian-based group, Almeida Duo. Chad’s original compositions and arrangements for percussion are published by Bachovich Publications, Innovative Percussion, Row-Loff Productions, and Tapspace Publications. Chris Evan Hass, Composer

Composer · Arranger · Conductor · Friend Chris Evan Hass (b. 1993) is a self-described ‘composer, arranger, conductor, and friend’ hailing from Ann Arbor, MI. Praised as “beautifully expressive” (the WholeNote) and “thrillingly off-kilter” (Double Reed Journal), Chris’ music aims to delight and inspire, often taking direct influence from his favorite artists and genres. Marked by rhythmic complexity and luscious harmonies, Chris’ music has been performed worldwide by some of today’s finest musicians. This includes members of the New York Philharmonic, U.S. Naval Academy Band, Sinta Quartet, Dallas Winds, Nashville Symphony Orchestra, U.S. Army Band, Eastman Saxophone Project, and U.S. Air Force Band. Chris holds degrees in Composition from Central Michigan University (M.M.) and Western Michigan University (B.M.). Blitz Philharmonic winds(ブリッツフィルハーモニックウインズ) 2003年4月Blitz Brass(ブリッツ・ブラス)として結成。2013年4月結成10周年を迎え、一般社団法人Blitz Philharmonic winds(ブリッツフィルハーモニックウインズ)と改称。 結成以来、「クラシック音楽のコンサートに足を運んだことのないお客様にも吹奏楽を通じて音楽の素晴らしさを伝えたい」というコンセプトを掲げ、年4回の定期演奏会では既存の型にとらわれない斬新なスタイルの公演を数多くプロデュースし、これまでの演奏会では入場制限をするほどの人気を獲得している。 メンバーには、日本を代表するコンクールの入賞者や国内外のオーケストラで活躍する奏者を擁し、演奏内容にも定評がある。また、これらの実績により2010年10月大韓民国文化庁主催2010 Korea International Wind Band Festivalに招聘され、初の海外公演を果たす。主要3都市での公演は大成功を収め、その様子は韓国国内でテレビ放映された。 レコーディングも意欲的に行い、吹奏楽の主要なレパートリーを収録したCD「Blitz Brass」シリーズは、これまで楽天クラシック部門では週間売上第 1位を記録し、クラシック音楽のCDとしては異例の売上を記録した。また異色のコラボレーションと斬新な企画が話題を呼んだCD「SAX EXPO!!」は、レコード芸術誌で特選盤として紹介されるなど高い評価を得ている。 演奏依頼も多く、最近ではキングレコード「ヒットマーチ!」シリーズ、東京書籍webショップ音楽専門館「ブラス・アンサンブル」シリーズを手掛け好評を得る。 http://blitz-winds.com
