The National Arab Orchestra (NAO) is a 501 c3 nonprofit organization that that aims to preserve and integrate Arab culture through music education, outreach, and performance. Founded in 2009 and established in 2010, the National Arab Orchestra is home to the Orchestra, the NAO Takht Ensemble (NAOTE), and the NAO Community Choir (NAOCC). The NAO is dedicated to preserving and performing the classical and contemporary traditions of Arab music and provides opportunities that will bridge social and cultural barriers through music.

TOKYO SKA PARADISE ORCHESTRA Based on Jamaican-born ska music, Tokyo Ska Paradise, Japan’s ska pride to the world, takes in all sorts of music with unique interpretations and has established their own style of sound that they call “Tokyo Ska”. The band made their debut in 1989 with their eponymous album (so-called “the yellow vinyl”). After going through a number of personnel changes, the current lineup consists of nine members. Unknown Mortal Orchestra began as the recording project of Ruban Nielson in 2010. After recording several songs and posting them online anonymously, Nielson signed to Fat Possum Records and released his self-titled debut “Unknown Mortal Orchestra” in 2011 to critical acclaim and success. A grueling tour schedule gave birth to the more complex and troubled sophomore album “II” which was released on Jagjaguwar Records in 2012 and saw the full band become a top, sought-after live act. In 2015, Nielson released the album “Multi-Love” which chronicled the story of a polyamorous relationship and brought them a greater profile. The band’s fourth album “Sex & Food” was released in April 2018, combining all of the different sounds they’re known for, from alternative R&B, to scorched heavy psych and dreamy disco.
