My journey in music started by singing backing vocals for the legendary composer, and my father, A.R. Rahman for films including ‘Mangal Pandey’. My solo debut was 2010 for the blockbuster film ‘Enthiran’ where I was the lead singer alongside S.P. Balasubrahmaniyam and A.R. Rahman for the title track Pudhiya Manidha which released in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. More recently I collaborated with the band U2 along with my sister Raheema and my father for the song Ahimsa which received a great response. We performed it live in the Joshua Tree Tour in December 2019 in Mumbai along with U2 and other artists. My newest release is my collaboration with the Grammy award-winning artist Ricky Kej, a song on air pollution which launched on September 4th, 2020. I am super excited about the release of my recent single Farishton, released on 25th October on major streaming platforms along with its Tamil version - “Farishtha” released on October 28th.

This is a channel about Cooking Recipes where you will find tutorial on food from various cuisines. March 2018, On the way to Delhi airport, I had one of my major accidents and had 11 fractures. The doctors said that the leg has to be amputated. The operation took place and by grace of God it was successful I was completely dependent on others. My Daughter was just a few days old and my son was just a teen. Life became a challenge ,sometimes I think of ending it all but love of my children pulls me back. Every day I ask God why did u do this to me. These 2 years passed like this One day I think it's enough can't live like that have to do something. At the same time I started Cooking Channel on YouTube The doctors told me not to stand for long time or keep working even under extreme pain but I didn't lose hope till date I walk with support of stick now I have another surgery. But I have to move on I have shared my story because one should never give up in their life.
