This is the story of Katy and Parker, two people from landlocked Hermitage, Pa, who embarked on a life journey together in 2021 aboard a small sailboat. Parker bought Seawind in 2016 with his entire savings and no clue what it would take to turn her into what she is today. He slowly tackled project after project, transforming this old boat into what he envisioned when they first met with the help of his dad and a few friends. He met Katy halfway through the 6 and a half year refit. Together, we have come a long way. We have come to know heartache and loss and to dance despite it all. Katy works a full-time job on the go, and Parker is creating these videos and keeping the boat afloat, which presents its own unique challenges and opportunities. But at the end of the day, it is our desire to move slowly and live fully that makes it all worth it. We sold Seawind in 2023 and are now continuing our adventures in our 1984 Passport 42 named Boundless.
