Canadian native, Greg Ovens, has been studying outdoor survival and bushcraft since the age of 12. He spent the past 30 years living among the Canadian Rocky Mountains in the Columbia Valley of British Columbia, where he enjoys testing his hunting, fishing, hiking, and bush-crafting skills. Being a drywaller by trade, combined with his passion for outdoors, it’s no surprise that he also prides himself in being able to build a shelter out of just about anything. Recently, Greg was on Season 3 of History Channel’s “Alone”, where he survived with no human contact for 51 days (over seven weeks) before hypothermia caught up with him in the Patagonian wilderness. Just random uploads from everyday life, I’m not a prolific youtuber I post mainly to entertain my aged disabled mother and my mates like it, I live 20 miles from her so when I’m not with her she follows what I’m up to on her iPad, Im also charting my weight loss journey from 18 stone using mainly punchbag, as it can be done with the punchbag alone, I spent many years powerlifting, circuits, bag etc and I’m bored with gym work, my dad was a boxer so I’ve always used bag and pads since I was 14. I’m not into negative gossip or politics although I do get asked qs about where I live (Bury Park) so I do the odd post addressing certain things. I’m an inactive artist but if you google Gregory John FineArtAmerica (my name is Gregory John Price) you’ll see my gallery of work from over the years, my art was always a form of therapy and is all copyrighted to me, I still get paid royalties for paintings I did 25 years ago.
