After years of boating and through multiple refit projects from a 39’ boat all the way up to an 80’, we finally bought our dream boat: a 100’ expedition yacht named Bravo! We survived the refit for Bravo, lived onboard for several years, crewed her with plans to travel the world… then Covid hit! We spent three years traveling up and down the eastern seaboard of the United States, and decided to sell Bravo for a brand new 80’ yacht. Reverend Calville 'Cal' Dunnon, envisioned organizing a Messiah-centered non-profit organization called International Agape Mission over 20 years ago to minister to needs outside the four walls of the church and into the margins of society where people are most disparate. Since then he has established relationships with clergy, medical personnel and volunteers from every walk of life who share this vision. This ministry has impacted orphans, the sick and suffering, students, parents, prisoners, indentured servants, ministers and missionaries, policy-makers and clinicians along the eastern seaboard of the United States, and overseas in the countries of Haiti, Dominican Republic and Cuba. The ministry is a way of life, rather than a job. Blue Jeans Ministry was an outgrowth of this lifestyle and an extension of the late Phyllis Dunnon's desire to reach people in the community for Christ. To date, Rev. Cal Dunnon has merged the two visions to make an impact both locally and abroad.

I am on an epic quest to sail to my ancestral home of Scotland, and to find my forever person along the way. This will be the most difficult project I have ever undertaken. I am currently in the Pacific Northwest on my 28 foot Newport Sailboat. Her name is "Vie Sauvage" and I am fixing her up, preparing to begin the journey. The ocean has called to me since I was very young. At one point about 15 years ago, I bought a book on how to build a fibreglass drift boat. Within that book of plans was a sailboat with a sleeping cabin...I thought "wow" that would be amazing. The drift boat never got built, but the seed had been planted to live, and explore, on a sailboat. Now the plan is to sail down the west coast and through the Panama Canal. From there we'll travel up the eastern seaboard of the United States and then across to Greenland, Iceland, the Faroe Islands and finally Scotland. We'll look for our special person as we go. This is my journey.
