Vocal Point is BYU's world-renowned all-vocal ensemble and has earned acclaim the world over, including being identified as one of “greatest college a cappella groups of all time.” In 2006 the group took home the title of International Champions of College A Cappella, and the following year were voted the nation’s favorite male collegiate a cappella group by the Contemporary A Cappella Society of America. The group also appeared on NBC's The Sing-Off in 2011, where they finished in the top 5. Since then, Vocal Point has won numerous CARA Awards, the equivalent of a Grammy Award in the a cappella industry. Additionally, in 2017 Vocal Point won an Emmy award for their TV Christmas Special “Christmas Under the Stars”. THUNK a cappella is Northwestern University's oldest a cappella group. THUNK has been singing and rocking "hot black" on campus since 1993, and in Cape Town, South Africa since 2005. Hi, we're Y-Studs A Cappella! We're an all-male Jewish a cappella group, originally from Yeshiva University. We started as a club in 2010, and have since grown beyond the collegiate level to the professional stage. Before anything else, we’re a group of college students and young professionals who love making music together. We pride ourselves on both our energy and our depth, and are extremely deliberate about the music we choose for our repertoire, ensuring every song has both uniquely Jewish undertones and a universally resonant message.
