Wardruna is a Norwegian music group dedicated to create musical renditions of Norse cultural and esoteric traditions. With the use of the oldest Nordic instruments and poetic metres, lyrics written in Norwegian, Norse and proto-Norse tongue, Wardruna sets out to give new voice to ancient and ever-relevant ideas and wisdom from the past. Wardruna was founded in 2002 by Einar Selvik. Spearheaded by four Norwegian/Swedish musicians, Kalandra is a band with roots in melancholic Nordic folk and gritty guitars, weaving ethereal melodies into raw and eerie musical landscapes. 
Formed in the beginning of 2011, they’ve spent a decade crafting their own unique sound, building their own studio, whilst also touring and playing support for similar acts such as Gåte, Seigmen, Wardruna and Eivør. Their break came with a cover of ‘Helvegen’ by Wardruna, that amassed over four million views on YouTube. Since leading them to join forces with the acclaimed record label ByNorse Music. In 2020 their first full-length album ‘The Line’ was released. The album was a journey in introspection, the feelings of wonder, anger, loss and acceptance at watching both your own life and the world around you unfold. Janus Pedersen was born in Denmark, Copenhagen in December 1986. Deloraine - fantasy and pagan music Deloraine is a seven-member band from the Czech Republic, which was founded in 2016. In their songs, the band deals with themes from fantasy literature as well as from ancient pagan times. Gealdýr is a project by Dutch singer and songwriter Jonathan Barendsma, with as aim to bring Old Norse wisdom back to life through music. Gealdýr started in 2019 and has become an established name in the Nordic folk/Viking genre over the past few years, with releases like Ymir (with Danheim), Sól and Sær. Tal is the mother of 'The Elders' musical project that gives life to ancient feminine wisdom and deep mystical atmospheres. ''The Elders' conjures a lost memory that was left behind in prehistoric times, more than six thousand years ago, long before men invented religion and civilization, when nature was perceived as the true source that connects all living things. Tal's voice and chants evoke a strong yearning for the ancient past and with the use of her deep connection to the earth, 'The Elders' channels sounds from nature; earth, fire, water and wind and incorporates traditional European instruments including nyckelharpa, hurdy gurdy and Irish whistles, alongside shamanic percussion and cinematic elements. The project portrays rituals from her own spiritual experiences of the old ways.

His music is heavily influenced by Viking/Nordic folk mixed with epic cinematic music and powerful drums and is especially known for his aggressive viking battle music. Hey! I'm Iñigo, a music composer and multiinstrumentalist from the Basque Country. I draw inspiration from paganism, mythology and medieval times to create melodic pagan folk with a touch of symphonic epicness. I'm most known for composing epic Celtic music, but my music goes far beyond. It is the perfect blend of Celtic music with elements such as bagpipes, whistles, bodhran, and fiddles; Wardruna alike Viking and pagan music with thundering percussions and the ancient sound of basque folk elements like the Alboka. I tend to mix all these folk music textures with orchestral or symphonic elements: choirs, orchestral sections, and percussions to create extremely melodic and powerful musical passages that resemble ancient myths and legends in a fantasy music context.
