Founded in Birmingham in 2011, St. Paul & the Broken Bones consists of Paul Janeway (vocals), Jesse Phillips (bass), Browan Lollar (guitar), Kevin Leon (drums), Al Gamble (keyboards), Allen Branstetter (trumpet), Chad Fisher (trombone), and Amari Ansari (sax). Nervous Energies is a video series with bands performing acoustic and alternate versions of their songs, created and filmed by Ryan Russell. NE started in Nov 2010 in Birmingham, Alabama and is currently based just north of Seattle in Bellingham, Washington. The goal of the series is capture artists outside studio settings in random locations giving the rawest possible experience of a band's performance.

A native of Tuscaloosa Alabama, Jackson has been singing since he was 3 years old. It started at home with his family, and then moved on to singing in school talent shows and churches. At the age of 12, Jackson competed in a local talent show at the suggestion of a family friend. A few months later, he found himself in Los Angeles where he won first place in the National competition. It was then that Jackson decided to make music his full-time focus. He began learning guitar and mandolin, as well as learning how to write his own songs. Jackson’s music is a blend of country, bluegrass, and Gospel with a classic country sound. His main influences are George Strait, Keith Whitley, John Anderson, Hank Williams, and Alabama. He has a passion for wanting to keep the sound of classic country music around for the next generation. His first EP is being released in 2022 and includes collaborations with John Schneider, John Anderson, and Tayla Lynn.
