As one of the original early-'90s West Coast gangsta collectives to follow NWA's lead, South Central Cartel first appeared with their debut album South Central Madness in early 1992 before releasing a succession of albums throughout the remainder of the decade. After Selling 100’s of thousands of their debut release. The group caught the attention of Russell Simmons and became the 1st West Coast Group signed to Def Jam Records. They went on to release the Gold Selling Album , 1994's N Gatz We Truss, They would go own to release Murder Squad Nation Wide and Arguably their best work, 1997's All Day Everyday. Before The group asked Def Jam to release them from their Contract Over Business Politics. During this same era, group leaders Havoc and Prodeje released a string of albums on Quality Records as well, helping garner a healthy cult audience. Despite their lack of cross over success, the group still stand alongside fellow early-'90s West Coast collectives such as NWA, Compton's Most

Instead, we were using them as convenient test subjects in our attempt to develop a better variety of push-pull cable. The coated strings worked quite well as cables, but they sounded terrible as guitar strings. (Picture a guitar strung with day-old spaghetti.) Working closely with a global player community of more than 15,000, we sought feedback and continued to fine-tune until we produced a coated string with proven long tone life. We had at last developed a coated string judged just right by the most demanding test equipment in the world: musicians’ ears.

Christina Welch is a self-taught mixed media artist originally from Western New York. Currently, she resides in the quaint town of Franklinton, North Carolina. Starting at the age of 4, she was taught crocheting by her grandmother. Since then, she developed a love for the Arts including bead painting, jewelry design, baking, and 39 years of experience as a hairdresser. She has also created a Facebook Group, ‘Pourage Posse with Christina Welch’, to help other artists with questions and talk about new techniques in the pouring community. She has opened the doors of her “Pour’age” garage studio to teach her art techniques in one-on-one workshops. She also sells (locally and in her Etsy shop) her unique and exclusive art, beads, and jewelry. While Christina has loved painting and drawing all her life, she only began pouring fluid acrylics about 7 years ago. Christina works exclusively in acrylics and primarily enjoys this medium to create beautiful pieces of abstract art.
