British guitarist and songwriter Ritchie Blackmore began his professional career as a session musician as a member of the instrumental band The Outlaws and as a backing musician of pop singers Glenda Collins, Heinz, Screaming Lord Sutch, Neil Christian, etc. Blackmore was also one of the original members of Deep Purple, playing jam-style rock music which mixed simple guitar riffs and organ sounds. During his solo career, he established neo-classical metal band called Rainbow which fused baroque music-influenced elements with hard rock. However, Rainbow gradually progressed to catchy pop style hard rock. Blackmore formed the traditional folk rock project Blackmore's Night transitioning to vocalist-centered sounds.

Did you have a dream? I did...I'll tell you mine...as a child I always dreamed of being a singer. As a teen, music was my great escape. I knew I had to be around music for my career, so I went to work at a radio station and as chance would have it met my husband. It was 1989. He was in Deep Purple and challenged our radio station to a charity soccer match. He took me on the road with him in 1993 and when he needed a singer, asked me to be his voice. In our downtime, we wrote music that was a release from the stress of the world. A place of fantasy, of star filled skies, castles on hillsides and honor and chivalry. We formed Blackmore's Night 25 years ago and released our 11th studio album, Nature's Light. Our 25th Anniversary edition of Shadow of the Moon complete with remixes, remastered versions, deluxe editions, vinyl, and a chance to win a signed Fender Strat will be out March 10th 2023! YouTube removed one of my videos from search results basically de-platforming it & when I contacted support, they basically said “tough”. There is little point uploading content if it isn’t going to be found in search results. The video broke no rules, it was just completely removed from search results. Analytic data shows it only gets views from playlists or peoples favourites. The analytic data YT provides shows how removing it from search results impacted the video & yet they still refuse to admit they are de-platforming it. Thanks to their conduct daily views plummeted 5/6 of what they used to be. If you monetised your videos & they did this to you meaning you’d not make anything, would you waste time adding content?
