His Swedish short film "JAG AR POLISEN" (2014) was also met with critical acclaim. His latest film "SOUTH OF HEAVEN" (2019) shows his progression in life and growth as filmmaker. Combining his love for calm cinematography with his gripping dialogues and fleshed-out characters. Currently developing his new film, Van Bergen works from Amsterdam.
