YOUNGTONES is a Soul soaked retro-pop currently releasing singles monthly. The concept was born in 2017 at a recording session at the South by Southwest music festival in Austin, TX. Producer Matt Young (Vacationer/Body Language) and Luke wrote their first song in the throwback Genre in about an hour and the result was something different from Matt’s typical pop centric productions and Luke’s more singer/songwriter influenced releases. Whatever it was, to Luke and Matt, it was exciting, fresh, and very welcomed. Pulling inspiration from their favorite Soul/RnB records of the sixties and seventies as well as the sights and sounds of their east and west coast cities, the result was something familiar yet distinctively different. Beginning with their first single “The Sun” YOUNGTONES will release a song every month for the foreseeable future.

Nicole Bernegger is a voice that electrifies, it’s an outstanding band and it’s an irresistibly grooving live soultrain. Since 2019, the Swiss singer has released music on her label «Alien Pearl Records», now the new album «BACK TO YOU» is out! With her band - Marco Nenniger (bass), Florian Haas Schneider (drums), Yves de Groot (wurlitzer), Stefan Strittmatter (guitar), Nza Smith & Steffi Klär (backing vocals) and additional Basel musicians, Nicole has put her very own version of the Soul on record. The songs, written with her band and recorded at One Drop Studio on Swiss home turf, mixed by Serge Krebs and mastered by Dan Suter, are produced by Nicole and Luc Montini and the sound is as timeless as it is contemporary. Mixing 60s Soul, 70ties Grooves, Retropop, Motown, Stax and a touch of Woodstock, Nicole joins genre colleagues like Black Pumas, Khruangbin, The Teskey Brothers or Silk Sonic - earthy, warm, powerful, smooth and "hands on", just the way she wants her Soul to sound.

Nané is a high-energy six-piece outfit from Austin, TX who caught the attention of Brittany Howard in June 2020 with their “Blue Velvet” music video. Howard selected them as one of her five picks 2020s NPR Tiny Desk Contest, commenting on the groove while giving major props to lead singer Daniel Sahad for his “no holds barred” performance. Sahad hails from the Dominican Republic. His grandparents are respectively Black, White, Latino and Arab (Lebanese). Called Nané as a term of endearment by his family in the Dominican Republic, Sahad determined the band’s name with a communal approach in mind – when you call him Nané, you’re family too. Nané (the band) came together in 2016 at UT Austin where Daniel and guitarist, Ian Green, would drink and play cover songs for their friends. They quickly realized their potential to write original music together and added bassist Scott McIntyre, Dayglow drummer Brady Knippa, and Black Pumas keyboardist JaRon Marshall to the lineup.
