This channel is devoted to the music of the 1930s to the 1960s. Great songs and great singers.

It is my aim to upload the best in British dance bands in general and Jack Payne in particular. This channel will consistently feature scarce recordings from the dance band era. My latest upload features Teddy Brown and his Cafe De Paris Band on a 1927 Vocalion. Next week,... Al Bowlly and Ray Noble In future one video a week will be uploaded. Stand by for some interesting and rare recordings from the 1920's and '30's.' . No LP nor CD re-issues here but the original recordings from my collection. As of Summer 2018, This is Now officially a (Mostly) Record channel. I`ll do some other videos about different subjects if asked and I feel like it. My style of recording said records is nearly original, and is unique. Most people don't talk in the videos, those who do will usually talk during the beginning. I talk during the end for the ease of convenience and people who Auto-play onto my videos. Also all the records I post will always have the flip side (If there is one) on screen and in the description. My claims to fame, (other than staying on top of things with the Musicprof78/the78prof scandal in 2019) is 1. An ongoing series called Record Stories in which I take a look at key labels, events, and maybe bands of the 78 era. 2. Becoming an Authority figure on bandleader/singer Will Osborne, and his multiple bands and related acts. His full life, career, and discography is currently be studied for book release called "The Fashion Plate Of Music", currently to be released in 2024.
