Cariad Drum Shop was originally formed in 2014 by Leigh Smith. An engineer, with a passion for this beautiful instrument. Leigh has established himself as one of the hardest working people in the industry. From the skills of drum refurbishment, to the complexity of building the drum store by; teaching, utilising the practice rooms, and gaining interest through content creation. Which has helped many drummers improve their skills and abilities, along with a boost of enthusiasm. Leigh has helped many young students really understand the 'Art of Drumming'. Leigh welcomes everyone to Cariad with open arms, no judgement on age or playing ability. He simply wishes everyone the best in their drumming journey, and wants everyone to know they have the ability to play no matter what.
