Bobby Womack

Known as the “Last Soul Man”, Bobby Womack was an accomplished musician, dynamic stage performer, and a prolific songwriter. He first came to prominence in the 1950s as part of The Womack Brothers, a gospel group that was comprised his siblings Cecil, Harry, Curtis, and Friendly. Impressed with the group, Sam Cooke encouraged them to come to Los Angeles where he signed them to his SAR label. Making the transition from gospel to R&B, they recorded as The Valentinos, ultimately hitting with “Lookin’ For A Love” and “It’s All Over Now”, written by Bobby and his sister-in-law Shirley Womack. The song was covered by the Rolling Stones, becoming their first #1 hit. It also charted with versions by Patti Drew in 1966 and as a duet between Womack and Bill Withers in 1975.

Starring child actresses from Shirley Temple of the 1930s, to Hayley Mills of the 1960s, to Dakota Fanning of today, and all the lesser known but equally talented starlets inbetween. IMPORTANT! My channel is dedicated to respectful, original videos of child actresses. The Fanning sisters, the Olsen twins, Abigail Breslin, and Heather O'Rourke each have many channels devoted to them, but there are very few channels that feature a wide variety of child actresses. ALL inappropriate comments are deleted, so don't waste your time saying anything rude about the girls in my videos.
