Gabriel Communications was started in 1996. Owned and operated by long-time disc jockey, Larry Black, the company specializes in “Reunion Videos.” Black first applied the “Reunion Video” concept to the legends of country music. The idea was simple: Ask the great people who shaped country music to get together and talk about their history, and maybe sing a few songs. From this idea, Country’s Family Reunion was born. More than 30 country music legends got together for that first taping to tell their stories and sing their songs. The success of this series spurred the creation of more than a dozen more projects featuring hundreds of songs and stories. Larry’s Country Diner is a unique down-home variety show which integrates entertainment, interviews and music in a weekly format, taped LIVE in front of a studio audience in a country diner setting. The show features regular characters including Black, Keith Bilbrey, Sheriff Jimmy Capps, Waitress Renae and avid church lady, Nadine along with special guest appearances by country music artists of yesterday and today. Since its initial airing on August 3, 2009, Larry’s Country Diner has produced over 100 episodes and has become one of the most popular shows on RFD television, garnering 1.4 million viewers monthly.

Mac Powell, originally from Alabama, moved to Atlanta, GA as a sophomore in high school where he would soon co-found the Christian rock band Third Day. Throughout their nearly three-decade career, the band sold over 10 million albums, earned four Grammy Awards, one American Music Award, 24 Dove Awards, and was inducted into the Georgia Music Hall of Fame. Since Third Day’s farewell tour in 2018 Mac released a country album “Back Again” under the banner “Mac Powell & The Family Reunion” and on October 15th, 2021 he released his debut solo Christian album “New Creation” which landed at NO.1 on the Top Christian & Gospel album chart. His first solo Christian single, River Of Life, is Top 10 and climbing. Mac is on staff at Church of the Apostles in Atlanta, GA where he lives with his wife Aimee and their five children.

Gene Watson was born in Palestine, Texas, in 1943. He began his music career in the early 1970s, performing in local clubs at night while working in a Houston auto body shop during the day.
