Many iPad users have claimed that their Wi-Fi is functional but there is no Internet connection after updating to the latest OS version. To establish a new connection, restart your iPad and disconnect your router if you're having similar issues. If the problem persists, continue with the troubleshooting procedures listed below.

After the update, the iPad is unable to connect to the internet.

It's possible that your iPad is having problems obtaining a legitimate IP address. It's possible that anything is interfering with the operation of your network equipment.
VPN and security apps should be turned off.

It's possible that your VPN or security app is interfering with DHCP. Allow DHCP to function normally by disabling these tools. To refresh your memory, DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Technology) is a network protocol that allows network devices to receive an IP address automatically.

You won't be able to connect to the Internet if your device doesn't have a valid IP address. As a result, turn off your VPN and security apps, restart your iPad, and double-check your connection.

1. Force Your iPad to Restart

Check if this solution solves the problem by forcing a restart. If your iPad has a Home button, simultaneously press and hold the Home and top buttons. When the Apple logo appears on the screen, release them.

If your smartphone lacks a Home button, press and hold the Volume Up button for a few seconds before pressing and holding the Volume Down button. After that, press and hold the top button for a few seconds. When the Apple logo displays on the screen, press the button. Check to see if you have access to the internet.

2. Bluetooth should be turned off.

Turn off your Bluetooth connection and see whether the issue still exists. Disabling Bluetooth on the iPad works like a charm, according to many users. Perhaps your Bluetooth is interfering in unusual ways with your Wi-Fi connection.

3. Forget about the thorny network.

After installing the newest iOS updates on your iPad, your network parameters may have become corrupted.

a) Select Wi-Fi from the Settings menu.

b) Next to your network, tap the Info icon.

c) Choose Forget This Network and then confirm your selection.

d) Unplug your router and turn off your iPad.

3) Wait 30 seconds before turning on your gadgets.

f) Return to Wi-Fi and re-join the network.

4. Reset Network Configuration

Try resetting your network settings if the problem persists.

a) Go to Settings and select General.

b) Then tap Reset Network Settings under Reset.

c) Restart your iPad and connect to your Wi-Fi network once more.

d) Contact Apple Support or schedule a Genius Bar appointment if your iPad still won't connect to the Internet.
