Maria Pomianowska, Prof. of arts Graduate of the Chopin Academy of Music in Poland (cello), academic professor in Academy of Music in Cracow. Multi - instrumentalist, vocalist and composer. Artistic director of the Cross Culture Festival in Warsaw. In 2010 she created and lead at Academy of Music in Cracow first in Poland Ethnic Music Departament. She has been studying Asian instruments, travelling to India, China, Korea, Mongolia, Japan and Middle East. She reconstructed two Polish forgotten instruments . She is travelling with concerts all over the world. She was cooperate with Mr. YoYoMa. Among her achievements is the fact that she has played with such wonderful artists as Jan Gillan, Boris Grebenshchykov, Gonzalo Rubelcaba and et al.She recorded more that 20 CDs, many films, TV shows and radio programs. She received many international awards

Boston Berklee College of Music alumnus (music performance & contemporary writing and production) who's worked under Ed Shearmur and Megan Cavallari. Classically trained, composer, arranger and improvisation in many styles. Composer for jazz fusion group CGC (Chamber Groove Co.) and Teros String Quartet. Studied under Eugene Friesen (Paul Winter Consort), Mike Block (YoYoMa's Silk Road Ensemble), Patrice Jackson (Mark O'Connor String Quartet), Misha Quint, Miron Yomplosky and mentor Xiao Wong of the Houston Symphony. Former member & co-principal of Virtuosi of Houston, TMEA and private lesson instructor, including master classes in jazz, contemporary improvisation at the Valdres Sommersymfoni Music Festival in Norway. Former member/principal cellist of the Neapolitan Orchestra, Berklee Contemporary Symphony Orchestra and World Strings.
