Juan Manuel Fernandez Maciuk, nació en Avellaneda y fué criado en Quilmes (Buenos Aires). El amor por la música lo llevó a grabar su primera maqueta en 1998, aunque Irione previamente se había desempeñado como freestyler, graffitero y hasta de braker dentro de la cultura Hip Hop, hasta quedarse definitivamente con el micrófono. Con tan solo 12 años (1999), hizo su debut en el mítico escenario de "Cemento". En su carrera lanzó varios discos solistas de manera independiente, llegando a posicionarse rápidamente en el género urbano argentino. Contó con participaciones exitosas en el Festival Nuestro, Movistar Fri Music, y Personal Fest en el cual logró conquistar al público y hasta ser elegido por Cypress Hill para abrir su show en el país. XXL Irione no es solo un artista, representa a un movimiento llamado “La Religión Irionera” compuesto por miles de fans que comparten su música y sus valores, tatuandose en su piel frases/nombres de las canciones y hasta la imagen del mismo artista.
