The oldest waterhole camera, watching over the Gowrie dam on Djuma Game Reserve, in the Sabi Sand Wildtuin, South Africa. Through WildEarth, this is the oldest waterhole cam in Africa and the world. It’s been broadcasting LIVE from this spot since 1998. With some luck you will see big cats coming for a drink or even on a kill close by. You can also expect to see a lot of impala (light brown antelope), waterbuck (white circle on rump), nyala (males have yellow legs and females have white stripes on flanks) and many other types of mammals, birds and reptiles. Djuma was started almost twenty years ago as a safari, lodge by the Moolman family, and is renowned for the quality of its game safaris.

I live on a Private Game Reserve in Limpopo, which borders the Kruger Park. Living with wild animals is such a privilege - the excitement is never-ending and extremely satisfying. You adapt to living with the rhythm of nature. I'm not a professional photographer - you won't find top-quality videos here, rather authentic footage taken in the moment, grabbing the first piece of electronic equipment around that will take a video. Sometimes my camera, but mostly my iPhone! I also add Kruger Park trips in the mix, as well as travels to remote and exotic places in Southern Africa. Sometimes by car, sometimes by private plane - my husband is a pilot and we often plan our trips around destinations with airstrips nearby! I am a nature and wildlife junkie...come along and see what it's like!
