We want to entertain people with history which is visually pleasing, grounded in scholarship, and properly researched at the same time. Our golden rules: 1) We only use academic sources and always try to stick to the consensus opinion. 2) We always list our sources in description of our videos. 3) We make clear when we deviate from the prior two rules. Education: Between the two of us we hold two Master's degrees in history from the university of Bern, Switzerland and one degree as a history teacher from the Bern University of Teacher Education. Both of us worked at the University of Bern as teaching assistants. DISCOVER, RELIVE AND CELEBRATE HISTORY AT MUSÉE DE VENOGE We are an all-volunteer living history museum with the purpose of understanding and interpreting the lives and material culture of the early 19th century French-Swiss inhabitants. During our living history events, summer classes and publications, we pay special attention to early trades, domestic arts, early gardening methods and foodways in Switzerland County, Indiana. Visit us and tour the restored 1828 French Colonial Venoge cottage.  Thirty acres of the original 41 acre homestead have been preserved. Slated for destruction, the cottage was saved and laboriously restored over a period of sixteen years.   We are open by appointment and hold several public events and classes each year.  We are two miles west of the town of Vevay in Switzerland County, Indiana near the beautiful Ohio River.

Hi folks, after thirty years i found my way back to this beautiful hobby. It was surprising and amazing how much has changed and improved during this time. The new quality and selection of model kits is breathtaking, but I am even more fascinated by the incredible works of art done by all these highly talented model builders out there. This channel is essentially about plastic model making in any scale and all that is related to it. Dioramas, exhibitions as well as visits to museums, historical or significant places can also be found here. The depiction of military vehicles, airplanes etc. is not about the glorification of violence or war ... it is just a hobby to recreate vehicles, landscapes and scenes on a small scale. So the artistic and handicraft challenges are in focus. Non of the published content on this channel corresponds to a political stance, nor does it want to trivialize the violence, cruelness and inhuman destruction of war. My hope it that this channel will be used for witnessing and to help brothers and sisters to grow in their walk with the Lord Jesus Christ. To show technology that can help spread the Gospel.
