Shobra is a figure of the Mahraganat (electro chaâbi mixed with rap) and a real star of the genre in Egypt. At the edge of rap and oriental electronics, Shobra El General has been able to make this style born in the streets of Cairo resonate in European venues and festivals. Member of the Nyege Nyege collective, he embodies the renewal of a rapidly changing Arab electronic scene, at the crossroads of the hip hop and electro scene, punctuated by sounds drawing from popular traditional music. A self-taught rapper from the slums of Cairo and shaped by them, his music resonates with the beating heart of the street, its cries, its unbridled engines, the tumult of the crowds. As in his performances, which are real stage performances.

Music producer // DJ Mina is an artist whose reputation has steadily amplified over the years thanks to two EPs for Portuguese label Enchufada, countless bootlegs and remixes, and her debut album “Flight Paths,” released in 2019 on her own label Earth Kicks.
