Steve Jordan

I have worked in the Aerospace Industry for 27 years in these skills...CNC & centre lathe setting and machining, assembling & testing hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical components. The majority being for military and civil aircraft and other transport. I have a very small backyard workshop with a Myford ML7, a Chinese Mini Lathe and a bench drill. I design and make lathe tools, do machine upgrades and repairs, make target shooting, survival and photographic equipment. Plus I do reviews of things I buy to use in the workshop and around the home. Some time ago I was diagnosed with depression and have had a few psychotic episodes. This channel came about by chance, without planning in 2016, when my brother gave me a Myford ML7 lathe. This inspired me to do my first video. I had so much encouragement from viewers and subscribers, that I carried on. I enjoy sharing what I do and it helps me to stay creative and positive. https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100089724160426

Matts BitsNBobs Workshop

WHAT WE DO We give handy tips and advice in our YouTube channel covering topics such as cycling, fishing, DIY as well as engineering. We are in awe of the steep history this country has as leaders in many areas including cycling, engineering and fishing. We know the younger generation have the brains but we would love to encourage them to take up a hobby such as these and learn more about our British Heritage by making sure they have the right equipment and knowledge. We are passionate about saving our British engineering heritage and keeping quality machines from going to the scrapheap by in some cases restoring them and in others just giving them the care and attention they need to be rehomed either to existing hobbyist or our next generation. Subscribe to our channel to see the latest tips and advice and what we have to offer. We also build and restore bicycles, fishing equipment and machine tools plus we can machine bespoke parts. The Knackler's Workshop

The Knackler’s Workshop is a place where you will see old items given a new lease of life using traditional engineering methods. Not everything will leave the workshop shining like a new pin, some will retain the patina of a bygone age. However, what is guaranteed is that they will leave the workshop in a better condition than they arrived and bring a smile to their owner’s face. Thank you for taking the time to read the above. Stay happy, strong, and healthy… Paul,, ✦ New videos released most Wednesdays (15:30 GMT) and or Sundays (07:00 GMT). ✦ If you wish to contact me please use the "For business inquiries: VIEW EMAIL ADDRESS" button below (Visible to PC viewers only) or via my website (link below).

I started Model Engineering and building model stationery steam engines in 2015, after constructing a small engineering workshop in my back yard, I use a Myford ML7 hobby lathe, a Dore Westbury benchtop milling machine, along with a pillar drill, bandsaw and the usual hand-tools associated with hobby engineering, and enjoy making model stationary steam engines and general metalworking. Nearly all of my engines are scratch-built without drawings, from aluminium and brass bar-stock, starting from an initial idea and letting the design evolve throughout the build, although I do sometimes use engine drawings found on the web, as a basis for a design, and then modify it to suit my will, using mostly metric dimensions, but often mix metric and imperial. I spend countless hours in my workshop working on a single engine, and much pain and frustration can be involved, but all this is eventually offset by the excitement of seeing my model engines take shape and eventually come to life.
