Two composer-pianists, Moshir Homayoun and Morteza Mahjubi have made major contributions to the use of piano in expressing the radif music. Therefore, this channel contains many works from these two pioneers. Maintaining the aesthetics and essence of the music is very important and can be a challenge overcoming which starts with accurate/sensitive tuning but doesn't end there. This YouTube channel has been established, as an extension of www.PersianTunedPiano.com with the goal of paving the way for future Persian-tuned piano enthusiasts in furthering that which has been accomplished by Moshir Homayoun and Mahjubi.
