A little over 9 years ago, while pregnant with our first child, my husband and I picked up and moved to an entirely new state with no friends or family. It has been hard to make lasting connections. We were finally starting to make some new friends and then March of 2020 happened. Our friends moved away and the world was filled with lockdowns, social distancing, and shelter-at-home orders. With this shift in the world, we needed to sit down and make sure our priorities still made sense. We decided that right here on top of our little mountain was the safest place we could be right now. With this ever changing situation, we are now focusing a little more on gardening and all things homesteading, homeschool, homemade, and connecting with you. Welcome, again. The development of the property at 1 Everton Grove is the culmination of the ideas of designer and builder - Paul Salmon. Amongst many other talents Paul has been involved in over 52 build and renovation projects, and continues to improve with each project. Everton Grove was purchased in 2014 and will be completed in 2024. The videos track the build and provide short updates of the progress pre pandemic, during the lockdowns and out the other side. Apologies for the early videos and their quality - they get better as time goes by.
