After working for southern pacific railroad, first starting out in the office and then working my way up to locomotive engineer… I got bored and decided to do the one thing that I have wanted to do since I was a child; and that one thing is truck driving. During the winter of 2004, I started truck driving school in Cedar city, Utah. By February 2005, I was sitting in the seat as a student with covenant. Since then, I have worked with several trucking companies, both large and small, local and over the road. I have driven dry vans, refers, tanks, with some of that experience being double trailers. In the fall of 2017, I started the process to become an owner operator at Landstar. After a bit of time at Landstar, I took a big step and got my own authority.
