Jeff Gunn is a musician, author and historian. This channel features guitar videos of performances and original works. His playlists feature many of the artists he has performed and/or composed with. Short Bio Jeff Gunn is a guitarist, songwriter and producer who co-wrote/produced Emmanuel Jal's Juno-nominated album The Key (Gatwitch/Universal). He is the author of the Hidden Sounds: Discover Your Own Method on Guitar (Mayfair Music Publications) and a regular “guitar tips” contributor in print/film with Acoustic Guitar Magazine and Guitar World. He co-wrote the song "Scars" with Jal and Nelly Furtado for the film The Good Lie (Warner Brothers 2014) and The Black Prince (2017) soundtrack. In 2019, he released Sonic Tales with Fretmonkey Records, which was favorably reviewed in Acoustic Guitar Magazine. Recently, he released a video "Spiritus Momentous" with CandyRat Records and online guitar courses with JamPlay.com. Look out for his forthcoming album Momentum in Spring 2022!

Here to pass on my 30+ years of experience. I love to play and teach all kinds of music - Rock, Blues, Funk, Soul, Jazz, Reggae, etc. I have a degree in Jazz and other notables are I used to teach for Jamplay.com and once played for Carnival Cruise Lines as a Show Band Musician. Beyond that I've gigged a lot locally with all kinds of bands and some theater productions as well and have been teaching for over 20 years and love to nerd out on the theory behind what makes different tunes tick.
