Erhan Shukri is a performer and teacher of violin and chamber music in a State Music School in Skopje. Over 14 years was a part from the orchestra of Macedonian Opera and Ballet. It’s a artistic director and conductor of string chamber orchestra “ARCO” since 2003. Since 1993 with his father works and conduct with the Mandolin orchestra “Skopje”. With those orchestras a lot of success and prizes all over the world. He is a member of many chamber orchestras in Macedonia, including the Balkan chamber orchestra. Also is a member of quartets: Strip 4M, Mary Poppins, Jazzicato, the trio Balkan Ask and the duet “VioHarp” with his sister. In 2016 he has published the CD “The Rhythm of the Mandolin” and the CD “Travelling around the world” in 2018. World of the music make him a traveler in a lot of festivals and competitions in all Balkan counties, including: Austria, Germany, Poland, Portugal, France, Russia, Belgium, Turkey, Denmark, Israel, Japan, Malaysia, South Korea, India and USA.

In 1951 at 20, Uri joined the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra as Assistant Principal Flute. In 1969, he was appointed Principal Flute by Music Director Zubin Mehta and served as such until he retired in 1997. In addition to performing throughout Israel, touring internationally and recording with the IPO, Uri was active as a chamber musician and soloist with orchestra. He performed and recorded with the Israel Woodwind Quintet, Israel Harp Trio, Israel Flute Ensemble, Israel Flute Quartet and pianist Chanoch Gruenfeld, his long term collaborator. Active as a teacher, Uri's many accomplished students include IPO Solo Piccolo Lior Eitan and Noam Buchman, Principal Flute, Jerusalem Symphony. Two years later he entered the cimbalom class at Ciprian Porumbescu High School. Since the age of 12, Alexandru has consistently won the top prize in various national and international competitions. At about this time he began to play with some of the most professional and prestigious orchestras in Romania and Moldova including the academic orchestras ‘JOC’ and ‘LAUTARII’.
