Since then I've documented the Pacific Crest Trail, Continental Divide Trail, The Camino de Santiago (French Way), Pinhoti Trail, Florida Trail, Foothills Trail, Kilimanjaro, and several shorter hikes. Most of my backpacking adventures involve long distance thru-hiking, but in between hikes I post informational videos that include the most basic backpacking info, my mistakes, gear reviews, and thru-hiking tips. Hike Camp Climb is a byproduct of my journey to find physical and mental healing after a hard-won battle with substance abuse. I turned to mountain climbing as a way of challenging myself and getting healthy again. As I started collecting gear for my first climb, I decided it would be smart to test it on flat ground first. So, I headed to the forest for my first solo winter camping trip and decided to record it while I was there. That video launched Hike Camp Climb and started me on the biggest adventure of my life! The mountains give me peace and a way to focus my energy into something positive. The goal of Hike Camp Climb is to share that peace and inspire others to get outdoors and start an adventure of their own!

I often hike and camp in the woods, mountains and sometimes in the wetlands and swamps. My channel is all about camping, Bushcraft, hiking and sometimes survival. I make a lot of homemade gear. I often do outdoor cooking videos and sometimes dip into the subjects of backpacking Kayaking and hammock camping. Sometimes I do friction fire like hand drills and bow drills, sometimes I talk about gear and sleep systems and differing types of shelters.
