Life with my cockatoo Max. Max is a 20 year old moluccan cockatoo. Angel was a 16 year old black cat who is the older videos. Angel passed away in January 2016. Dusty is our new cat. He was a stray cat I tamed over 2 years and now lives with us permanently. Dusty is around 8 years old. Max does NOT have his wings clipped and has NOT had them clipped in 15 years, he can fly when he wants but normally only will fly if something startles him. All current videos are filmed using Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra phone as of April 2023

Life with my crazy, sweet, funny, & loud 19 year old Moluccan Cockatoo, Gotcha! God is so good, I had the opportunity to give him a forever home in 2014 & I can't imagine life w/out him! Earning his trust took a lot of work & redirecting negative behavior that was caused in him. Adopting a parrot is like adopting a 2 year old toddler that doesn't grow up or move out when they turn 18. They can live 80+ years! Parrots are a LIFETIME COMMITMENT!!! 85% of parrots are resold, given away, or abandoned within just 2 short years of ownership! Please do all of your research before you consider adopting a bird. They are not meant to live life in cages. They need us, to do everything that THEY need to be happy and healthy. Gotcha was troubled, but I never gave up on him & he will be loved by my family forever! Thankyou for being apart of our family! Gotcha is the light of my life! Even on his bad days! Most people forget this .... they are very loud , make very much dust , a lot of mess , destroy everything they got in their beak ... so we take a year to get all the + and the - in our head .. before we say yes .It is daily hard working, cost mommy very much energy to raise me from baby to what i am today ... i take a lot of her time i am never when mom is at home in my cage i have all the freedom to play and be a naughty ,funny and cute girl :) A PARROT IS A LIFETIME COMMITMENT AND NO TOY !!! Hi! My name is griffi and welcome to my channel! I am a goffins cockatoo and I just love to dance. My mommy and daddy are fosters for the Florida Parrot Rescue and loved me so much they couldn't let me go so I became a permanent part of the family! I have 3 doggie siblings and another bird sibling (but she's bossy and doesn't like it when I get attention) but I don't care as long as I get to dance! I had a pretty rough life before the rescue got me which is why I look the way I do but I still stay happy! Looks aren't everything and I know I dance better than most so I don't care! That led to a blog and a chance meeting with Eric's writing mentor, Wayne Stinnett. Brock has been passionate about toucans since childhood with a drive to research all available information he can about the birds. The channel all started with Ripley and her silly antics, then expanded to include education about toucans domestic and wild and their behavior. Now, together with his ragtag flock of mismatched, traumatized and disabled toucans- he hopes to not only provide a better life for needy birds, but also provide an experience for people to learn more about these wonderful creatures through social media, while also advocating that toucans do not make good pets in hopes to spare other birds from neglect. He is actively working to create the first toucan sanctuary in the US in hopes to take in as many sick and injured toucans as he can and provide a safe and enriching environment for them.

My Goffin's cockatoo, Boo, has been with me through my adult life. As a teen, I saved up money and brought him home as a baby bird in early 2000. In September 2011, I adopted Arthur, another Goffin's with a history of biting and screaming. However, in January 2021, I found him an amazing new home. Misha, a Moluccan cockatoo, joined our flock in May 2015 when he was about six years old. Before the pandemic, Boo and I attended almost weekly bird parties with our friends, including a black palm cockatoo, hyacinth macaws, conures, cockatiels, and other pet birds. In 2022, Boo miraculously recovered from a severe lung infection after nearly six months of intensive treatment. I've also fostered Baby, a sulfur-crested cockatoo, and Feather, a bronze-winged pionus. Most clips are candid iPhone recordings with minimal editing.
