One of my favorite past times is purchasing older abandoned houses and renovating them into quality homes. Although I don't purchase homes by using those signs you see plastered all over the place for "We Buy Ugly Houses", I do indeed buy some pretty rough homes, maybe even some those guys wouldn't touch. Does it have a 40" diameter tree laying on the roof? I bought that! Does it have a single board holding up half the roof? I bought that! This channel is dedicated to the documentation of the process I go through from purchasing day until completion day. Also, because I work a regular job, I usually only work on a project on weekends and maybe even a holiday if the wife lets me. If you are interested in the process of renovation and seeing the transformation of the bad and ugly into something good, then here is where you will want to be.

In 2023 we bought a 120 year old railway station to renovate into our family home. Our channel tracks our renovation journey as we discover The Old Station's history and renovate the house and gardens. Our project has just started and is likely to take us years. As you will see we are learning as we go. We love hard work and research but are not builders or experts in renovation so we will make lots of mistakes. Your advice and guidance is welcome (and needed). We aim to post a video every week of our progress but please give us a little grace if we are a little late posting as we are renovating between our busy day jobs.
