Vinka was born on June 27th 1994 in Kampala, Uganda. A Makerere University graduate of Tourism and Hospitality, she has always had a passion for music and dance. She started out as a dancer for artists like Maurice Kirya, Cindy and Jackie Chandiru before she worked as in intern at Uganda’s premier record label Swangz Avenue while still at university. Veronica moved through the ranks at Swangz and was tasked to work as artist manager for several of the record label’s big artists at the time. From 2013 through to 2016, she worked with Irene Ntale, Winnie Nwagi and other artists. Late 2016, the record label she worked for asked her to convert into a musician. After considerations, Veronica took the opportunity and signed a record deal under stage name VINKA in Febuary of 2017. She debuted with a single titled “Level’ followed by a collaboration with Irene Ntale “Stylo”. She has continued to sit on top on Uganda’s music charts with every song she has released.

Winnie "Nakanwagi" Nwagi is a Ugandan singer signed to Swangz Avenue, best known for her award winning single Musawo. She was the second runner-up in the second season of "Coca Cola Rated Next" in 2014. She performed with Afrigo Band in a live performance at Guvnor called "Friday Night Live" in April 2016. Nwagi's music career began when she became the second runner-up during the second season of "Coca Cola Rated Next" music competitions in 2014. She was signed by Swangz Avenue and released a number of songs including Embeera, Katono Katono, Gwenoonya and Kyowulila. She released her commercially successful single Musawo in early 2016. Musawo was played on both radio and television and attracted attention the Ugandan singer Irene Ntale when she did an acoustic version of the song.

Azawi is a multi-talented singer-songwriter. She was inspired to do music and dance years ago after frequently visiting the Ndere Cultural Centre to watch the dance festivals. She later on joined Kika Dance Troupe in 2005. After leaving Kika Dance Troupe, Azawi started singing in school with the help of a friend, and brother, who mentored her as a singer/songwriter. That is when Azawi started writing for a few artists locally, in Uganda. Azawi has written songs for Lydia Jazmine, Nina Roz, Eddy Kenzo, etc. During her journey as a songwriter, Azawi was discovered by Swangz Avenue, and this has put her on a path to stardom.
