Paxton Fielies

Paxton Fielies is one of South Africa’s finest pop voices. Born in Bishop Lavis in Cape Town in the year 2000, the singer has been building a reputation since winning Idols SA’s 13th season in 2017. Her love for singing started in church where she sang in the choir. Paxton released her first single, “Demonstrate”, in 2017 towards the end of the Idols SA season. In the same year, she performed at the popular festive season-welcoming Cape Town Festival of Lights. In 2018, she released chart-toppers such as “Smother”, a collaboration with The Voice winner Craig Lucas. In May 2018, she released her debut album, This Is Me, which she co-wrote. The project came with the hit single “Angifuni” and saw her making appearances on various TV and radio shows and performing at multiple festivals. She got to travel different parts of the globe such as, among others, Sweden, Russia, and USA promoting her music. 2023 will see Paxton launching her EP. For more info kim@thinktheatre.co.za
