Join The Rebellious! 🎫 The Steel Crows are an amalgamation of influences, like bands of the late 60’s and early 70’s such as Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones, Aerosmith, Pink Floyd, and countless others. Their unbridled love for rock and roll shines through in their music. From the rhythmically complex guitars and soaring solos, powerful and gritty vocals, steady yet memorable drum playing, and bone shaking bass, you would be surprised to learn that The Steel Crows are an American band consisting of 3 members not even old enough to buy a drink, not a British band out of the 1970’s. Their flamboyant outfits, energetic performances, charismatic personalities, and all around great rock music set them apart from other bands today, and help them leave a mark on all of their dedicated fans and followers!

The music I make is deeply personal. A taste of heart, a touch of soul, a sight of mind, a smell of power, a sound of confusion, and a movement of rebellion; is my potion for making music. I'm just doing what I want to to relieve myself from the anxiety and stress built every second, every minute, every hour, every day, every week, every month, and every year; I have been here on this planet earth. No matter where I've been nor no matter how many friends I have made, it makes no difference. I feel so bored and alone.

Dakota grew up around Hillsboro, Kentucky exploring the mountains, playing in the creeks and living in a land of true freedom. The times were tough, but everything changed when his parents got him a guitar. His first songs were inspired by the local bluegrass players, 1990s country and southern gospel. In 2023, Parker quit his job to go all-in on music. His first single, “Rebel on the Run,” quickly made waves and received radio airplay internationally. Two EPs, “Kentucky Gap” and “Higher Ground,” painted pictures of his turbulent upbringing while developing his identity as an up-and-coming Americana artist. His songs range from hauntingly empty to pulsing arrangements. With his Appalachian drawl and conviction for emotional honesty in songwriting, Parker plays in a way that honors the local musicians and church songs that raised him. Now living in north central Indiana and raising a family of his own, Parker continues to tour the Midwest and consistently release new music.

Songwriter Jesse James DeConto grew up in New England, with Dad’s guitar and Mom’s radio tuned to Soulsville, the Village, Liverpool and Laurel Canyon. Those inheritances mingle with foothills-folk in Durham, N.C., yielding songs Americana UK calls “anthemic.” The Pinkerton Raid has played with Illiterate Light, Ballroom Thieves, and Noah Gundersen. Album releases in 2017 & 2018 brought them from Charleston to Chicago to Brattleboro, Vt., with slots at EnoFest, Shakori Hills and Daytrotter and acclaim from Paste, Popdose, Aquarian Weekly and more. In 2020-2021, the band has released a series of indie-rock singles. AMERICAN SONGWRITER called “Dream the Sun” “radiant.” GLIDE said “Rebel Mama Blues” “purrs with the garage rock swagger of The White Stripes and the irritated kick of Cage the Elephant,” while THE BIG TAKEOVER called it “a blast of zeitgeist-capturing political garage-psych … Bowie-meets-Black Keys.” Their fifth full-length album is due out in 2022.
