The Washington International Horse Show is an iconic equestrian event held in October. The WIHS YouTube channel features the wonderful horses and riders, past and present, competing at WIHS, plus interviews, exhibitions and exciting competition. WIHS is rated CSI5*-W and is a Longines FEI Jumping World Cup qualifying event. Established in 1958, WIHS welcomes top international and national riders for a week of top competition, plus community and charity events. Highlights include the President's Cup Grand Prix, Puissance high jump, WIHS Equitation Finals, Shetland Pony Steeplechase, Barn Night, a youth focused evening with entertaining classes, contests and prizes, and Kids' Day, a free, fun and educational community event.
