About Iglu & Hartly From Y2K to 2020 Formed in the foothills of Colorado by singer/writer/producer Jarvis Anderson, The indie pop group Iglu & Hartly started as a group of friends who heeded the call west to Los Angeles. The synth-heavy band cut its teeth simultaneously in the glitter and grime of Y2K Hollywood and found itself a home in the punk rock legacy of Hermosa Beach, CA. These early California experiences inspired their 2008 debut record ‘& Then Boom,’ which included the worldwide hit “In This City.” Iglu & Hartly lay dormant for 10 + years before coming back together to headline the Hermosa Beach Summer Series music festival in 2019. Indeed, the band started anew with Jarvis picking up where he left off years ago with the release of “Cooler” in December 2020 which rose to #1 on the World Famous KROQ for an incredible 8 weeks in a row. I have collected vinyl since the 80's. I have some very rare, un-played 80s vinyl. I decided to dedicate a YouTube page back in 2006, and record some *[RARE]* vinyl that's hard to find. CD quality and digital versions are so bad these days. Vinyl quality is the best*. Some vinyl is tough to clean and post at the right speeds with crazy scratches and crackling going on, I did my best, enjoy my rare 80's vinyl that I recorded loud and clear from my Numark USB turntable, levels are put as high as possible avoiding distortion. Thanks for the comments and nice notes you all have sent me. And Fuck Off to the picky ass peeps who are negative. I will be posting a bunch more soon. My Satellite: Psychedelic Indie Rock from LA "A musical powerhouse fusing ethereal psychedelia with indie rock's raw authenticity". Forming in early eighties from the songwriting of Brent Alan Beck, The Missing Link, an ep of four songs were quickly recorded & produced by Columbia Artist Walter Egan.
