The Purposeful Pantry

Hi there! Welcome to The Purposeful Pantry, where we learn about dehydrating food to create fully-stocked pantries with shelf-stable food our family already loves! Whether you're saving your garden harvest or taking advantage of grocery store deals, we'll focus on preserving that food through dehydrating (as well as canning, freezing, and more), and learn how to use those foods to create meals for our families! We'll learn together to do things that help stock our pantries to help prepare our families for life's little and big emergencies, and methods to shop and preserve foods that save us money and time. So I hope you'll join us as we help each other learn and grow! And we'll do it all to the Glory of God!

My Nutty Family Adventures

Hello, I am Brittani Kasper! I love taking pictures and videos of my life and being able to look back the moments. I was in the United States Marine Corps for 8-9 years! Now I am starting to settle down and enjoy life day by day. #BrittaniKasper I am getting into gardening; the kids love planting veggies and fruit. We are currently in Zone 3. The kids love picking and eating what we have planted. Also, we have been starting to can up some of our veggies for future use in jars. Dehydrating is another great thing I have been doing. Making and cooking food is one of my passions! I work in in veterinary medicine, and in interior architecture, so there are some videos on those subjects as well within my channel. As well as seeing miscellaneous videos of the kids growing up. Enjoy!

Wisdom Preserved

To Marie and Emmaline the lost arts are the useful knowledge related to simple living, country living, modern homesteading, and old-fashioned traditions that are not readily being passed down from generation to generation as it used to. It includes sustainable living skills like gardening, canning basics, and homesteading skills. Some of Marie and Emmaline's favorite hard skills include boiling water bath canning, pressure canning, steam juicing, dehydrating, and fermenting our own food to add to our pantries and food storage. What Are the Lost Arts? Lost arts are the basic skills for self-sufficient living that have been forgotten or replaced by modern technology. --- WISDOM PRESERVED Marie and Emmaline’s friendship was almost instantaneous. Within 20 minutes of their first meeting, they were discussing their shared passion for the lost arts. Their collective enthusiasm has created this worthy endeavor, and their individual strengths have made a project of this magnitude possible.
