Die "Cantate um 1715" ist eine Konzertreihe von St. Peter München, die von der Cembalistin und Dirigentin Johanna Soller und dem Bariton Sebastian Myrus ins Leben gerufen wurde. In monatlichem Rhythmus erklingen bei diesem Zyklus Kantaten von J. S. Bach und seinen Zeitgenossen. Als Aufführungsort dient den Musikern der capella sollertia unter der Leitung von Johanna Soller die barocke Kirche St. Stephan am Alten Südfriedhof. Immer am Sonntag, immer um 17.15 Uhr.

The Berlin Recorder Orchestra - BBO - is an ambitious amateur ensemble with a long tradition that has been rehearsing and performing under the direction of recorder player Simon Borutzki since 2012. In weekly rehearsals, the ensemble prepares demanding works from all musical periods, which are arranged exclusively for the BBO by Simon Borutzki. The repertoire is supplemented by modern commissioned works. The BBO performs regularly in Berlin and has already attracted national and international attention as prize winner of the German Orchestra Competition in 2016 and 2021 and the Open Recorder Days Amsterdam in 2017. In the summer of 2018, the orchestra’s first professional CD recording, “Alla Turca”, was released on the Rondeau Production label. These video performances (some from as early as 2014) represent snapshots in time of musical ideas, artistic interpretations and orchestral development. We hope you enjoy them.
