This channel is dedicated to sharing videos of John Draycott's original song compositions... as well as John's moments of hamming it up on the lighter side. John Draycott grew up with music. He comes from a family of musicians. With Dad on the fiddle, Mom on the banjo, John on guitar and his sisters on the piano and organ.By age 20, he was writing his own music and lyrics. A few years later, he made his first professional recording at Tamarack Sound and had airplay for some of his own songs . He then recorded at the renowned Grant Avenue Studios Hamilton. These recordings were distributed world wide and received airplay in 23 countries. His song, Blue Zone, was highlighted in the US on ROTO NOTO compilation CD & was in top ten in charts up against major labels against such Dolly Parton & Alabama. He was offered the opportunity to record his CD in Nashville . John writes both country and rock, but he always seems to drift back to his roots in country music.John Draycott
